About Arpsy
Arpsy was created with a simple mission: make emotional wellness accessible, private, and scientifically grounded for everyone.
Our Mission
We believe that understanding your emotions is the foundation of mental well-being. Arpsy helps people track, understand, and grow their emotional awareness through tools built on established psychology research — including Robert Plutchik's psychoevolutionary theory of emotions and modern emotional intelligence frameworks.
What We Built
Arpsy is a free, privacy-first emotional wellness application that combines an interactive emotion wheel, guided journaling, breathing exercises, grounding techniques, and pattern analysis. Every feature is designed to help you build self-awareness without judgment.
Our Approach
- Research-backed: Built on Plutchik's emotion wheel model and evidence-based practices from clinical psychology
- Privacy-first: Your emotional data belongs to you — we never sell or share personal information
- Accessible: Free core features, available as a web app on any device
- Continuous improvement: Regular updates based on user feedback and the latest wellness research
Our Values
- Emotional awareness is a skill anyone can develop
- Privacy and trust are non-negotiable
- Science-backed tools produce real results
- Mental wellness should be accessible, not expensive

Who is behind Arpsy
Casper Jongeling — Founder, based in Delft
Casper is the founder of Arpsy. The road to building it runs through psychology, law, and health sciences — three disciplines he kept circling because each, in its own way, asks the same quiet question: how do people stay whole?
Just as formative were the years he spent outside the Netherlands. Living, working and learning across continents, he watched how people in very different cultures make sense of stress, grief, joy and burnout. Each place added a layer that no textbook ever quite captured — a respect for context, for ritual, for the small daily acts that hold a life together.
Out of all of that came a single conviction: emotional clarity isn't a luxury, it's infrastructure. Arpsy is the form that conviction finally took — a quiet, privacy-first companion built on what actually works, for anyone who wants to understand themselves a little better, without giving anything of themselves away.
